KIMBERLY DUKE, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
Kimberly Duke received both her Bachelor's degree and Master’s in Nursing at the University of South Florida. An Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatry, Ms. Duke has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents in psychiatric inpatient residential treatment centers, and in the psychiatric home care environment. She has also worked in the field of addictive medicine at the world-famous Institute of Living in Hartford, Connecticut, worked with traumatic brain injury/spinal cord patients and with clients recovering from various neurologic and neurocognitive disorders. She has been employed as an MDS/Patient Care Coordinator and was instrumental in introducing the Prospective Pain System to Connecticut's Health Care System. She also has experience with clients challenged with Alzheimer's and other dementia related illnesses.
Ms. Duke holds a National Board Certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Practitioner She holds memberships in the American Psychiatric Nursing Association, National Alliance in Mental Illness and Sigma Theta Tau International. She also volunteered with the nationally recognized Ministry Celebrate Recovery, a safe-based program providing coping for disrupted and disabled women. Her professional achievement awards include the USF Nursing Practice Clinical Excellence Award and the Rising Leader Award. She has been practicing as a Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner since 2003.
