SIDNEY L. GIBSON, JR., LMHC
Sidney Gibson received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of South Florida. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Mr. Gibson has extensive experience with inpatient and outpatient treatment and family treatment programs. He has been a Criminal Justice Specialist and Master Addiction Counselor and consulted at the HRS Britt Halfway House. Mr. Gibson was responsible for coordination and treatment of Federal and State Substance Abuse programs within the Neuropsychiatric Institute. He was the founder of an Employee Assistance Counseling Program at St. Joseph's/St. Anthony's Health Care System. He has consulted to Mental Healthcare Corporation and was supervisor of the FACT team, a mental health outreach home visiting program. Mr. Gibson’s areas of counseling interests include children, adolescents, adults, family therapy and substance abuse.
Mr. Gibson is certified by the National Association of Forensic Counselors and has been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1982.
