Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Chelsea Geller received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Tampa and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University. After graduating from her M.A degree program, Ms. Geller worked as a Behavior Specialist working with adult, group, and individual therapy in a Partial Hospitalization Program at Rogers Behavioral Health. Ms. Geller also has experience working with Veterans. At the Department of Veterans Affairs - Lee County Healthcare Center, Ms. Geller provided group and individual therapy, consultations, biopsychosocial assessments, and created treatment plans in all other mental disorders. She has also worked with dual-diagnosed patients in residential treatment centers and college students at the Health and Wellness Center at University of Tampa. Ms. Geller’s theoretical approach is to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which focuses on improving emotional regulation while changing and challenging unhelpful thinking and unhelpful behaviors.
Ms. Geller is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been working in the Mental Health field since 2013.
