Hannah Hicks received her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art and a Master of Science degree in Art Therapy at Florida State University. While completing her Art Therapy internship, she gained experience leading community-based therapeutic workshops, conducting psychoeducational groups in an intensive outpatient program, and facilitating art therapy groups for LGBTQ+ teens. Her post-graduate experience centered on providing individual counseling services in outpatient settings.
A dedicated Art Therapist, Ms. Hicks is committed to promoting holistic wellness through creative expression. She strives to empower her clients by providing them with opportunities for self-reflection and problem-solving using artistic processes, motivational interviewing techniques, and acceptance & commitment therapy.
Her areas of counseling interest include working with adolescents, young adults experiencing life transitions, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Ms. Hicks is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist.
