At The Neuropsychiatric Institute, we accept most insurance plans. If you have insurance, chances are very high that we are already in-network with your plan. In the event that our services are not covered by a health plan, or the patient has no insurance coverage, payment arrangements can be made on a fee-for-service basis.
Our staff will verify benefits and communicate with the patient, prior to being seen, concerning any applicable deductibles that are due at the time that services are rendered. Mental Health generally does not require a referral from your primary care doctor, but some Insurance Plans do require prior authorization or pre-certification in order to cover services. We are usually able acquire authorization directly by calling your insurance or requesting it online.
